Water Quality User Group with Focus on Data Validation

| Water

The "Water Quality User Group" has established itself and meets regularly at the KISTERS headquarters in Aachen. In January 2018, users from five organizations and three countries participated.

The meeting is based on two pillars: First, it's about information and know-how, because the participants not only learn about the new functions in KISTERS Water Quality Solutions, but also discuss future enhancements. This gives us important information to further develop our solutions according to the actual requirements of the users. Secondly, the exchange of experiences among customers and with the KISTERS experts is an important purpose of the User Group.

New: Water Quality Forum

The users of our water quality solutions are distributed around the globe. For a better and more continuous exchange of ideas and advice beyond the User Group, we have now decided to set up an Internet forum as a virtual meeting place for all users. This bridges the spatial and temporal distances.

Focus on Data Validation

We have found that the data validation practices of our users differ widely and that most do not currently use all the possibilities of the KISTERS solutions. During the recent meeting we focused intensively on the topic "validation of sampling data". On the first day all participants presented their own validation methods briefly. The second day involved an extensive workshop at the KISTERS Academy, where the manual and automated data validation functions were explained in detail and everyone got tips and tricks for their day-to-day business.

The next meeting will take place in January 2019.
