Meteorological Technology World Expo 2016 in Madrid/Spain attracted more visitors than any previous edition – most probably a result of coupling the trade show with the WMO CIMO TECO conference.
The overall quality and quantity of visitors was overwhelming with strong interest in KISTERS’ software solutions and HyQuest Solutions’ measurement/monitoring equipment. For the second time KISTERS joined forces with ESRI on a highly attractive 24m² exhibition booth. ESRI Redlands (USA) and KISTERS Aachen (Germany) cooperate on the integration of the spatial and the time domain into modern distributed software solutions for environmental data management. The resulting solutions range from world maps of soil moisture time series data to integrated disaster warning and management systems.
Equipment for Monitoring Tasks
HyQuest Solutions is the KISTERS brand of sensors and monitoring equipment. A full range of sensors for automatic monitoring stations was on display: water level instruments, precipitation gauges, hail sensor and data loggers. Both the HS40 bubbler and the HailSens hail sensor received a lot of attention from met offices and consulting engineers alike. Furthermore, the AD375MA has been praised as the most solid, robust and long-lasting shaft encoder in the market.
Success equals quality and quantity of leads
“KISTERS has been with the show from its very first edition in Brussels some 6 years ago. From our records we can tell that the 2016 edition was by far the most successful in terms of number of attendants at the KISTERS stand with a surprisingly busy first day, an equally busy second day and even the last day of the event attracting more people than any previous edition” says KISTERS Business Development Manager Edgar Wetzel, who headed the sales team during the 3 days event in Madrid.
Save the Date: MTWE 2017 in Amsterdam
KISTERS is looking forward to meeting further new leads and existing customers at MTWE 2017 from October 10th to 12th, 2017 in Amsterdam/The Netherlands.
